How does it know how much tax to add? I am using the free version for now.

DeAnna, you have to define the Tax % according to your State tax.

I have set up my taxes and turn them on each item but it does not add tax to the item. Is there a bug?

Some users reported similar issue, but what they did they entered 0.0825 instead of 8.25. Make sure this is not the case.

The 2 tax rates where I am at are 7% and 2% . I have tried putting the taxes in different ways but nothing seems to work. Do you have any suggestions.

I found the right way to add the taxes in I was putting 8.5 % and 1.5% when I should have left the % sign off and just put 8.5 or 1.5 in Setting

I sometimes have 3 taxes at play where I live....

    CA State: 7.25%

    San Diego County: 0.5%

    City: 0.75%

Not every store I frequent is in my city otherwise I'd just create a city tax that includes SD County.

So, I guess what I'm saying is that I need more than 2 taxes.
