There are numerous persistent problems with the Android mobile app. Is it actually supported?

I saw that it has been removed from the Play Store. I sent a message inquiring about it but has since gone unanswered. I guess the only "app" that will always work is a pen and paper.

Still waiting Grocery Gadget. I depended on your APP for my family AND as a support worker for developmentally challenged adults. Where is the Android App for Play Store? You've taken our money now how about providing the goods.

I did a factory reset on my phone, was able to download it, but can't sign in and join my family's group. Everyone can use it but me. I'm using Out of Milk Pro temporarily but this is getting annoying already.

I loved this app on iPhone. I am hoping the developer can get Android updated soon since I cannot sign in on our family list. I have found all the icons hidden under the # of open apps button and the revert button being touched at the same time.

I loved this free app for my iPhone. I recently switched to Android and ended up paying for the upgraded version. I can't even join my own group. Not sure what I just paid for. Pretty disappointing though.

To all frustrated by this company taking our money and making a run for it. Time to go public! Drag them into the media anyway you can! All I ever get is a generic response with no commitment. Time to make our voice louder!

Also waiting for a ticketed response from devveloper and Goigle Play. Surely Google Play has a policy or contract to prevent developers from bailing and ignoring paying customers? Not sure about you guys but I've never had a developer just cut n run without an email or public notice.

This is a good app so I'm hoping we will get an update.

Not a definitive answer but at least it looks like we should have it back on Google Play at some point. See correspondence below.

I want to export my lists to GroceryIQ, how can I do that?  I would like to be able to use the Android app I paid for but can't because I can't log in to the paid version.

Android version has not worked since I switched to Android 4/1/15, so get a refund. I recommend Our Groceries app.

To Mark LaViolette do no use this app as it has not worked for about a year and they refuse to give a refund! Poor support and a bunch of IDIOTS doing the work!

I think it highly irresponsible for them to even remove the Android app instead if just leaving it and just pushing an update like any other developer would do.  What in the hell could be such a big deal that they couldn't just leave it alone.  BUNCH ID IDIOTS.  I know for a fact they are still supporting their app on IOS as my wife gets updates when available

Plus I've only found app that is cross platform that my wife and I can use called OurGroceries I beleive its called.

Yes I know and it sucks when you literally have house of your time putting information in the app as I have then they just stop supporting, they told me it was Android's fault...lol. I have found when it comes to computers it's always someone else's fault!!! I agree the are just lazy and a bunch of IDIOTS!!! Plus keeping our money!!!

Hi all, I've been using OurGroceries since my last post, so almost a year now. The app is available for both iOS and Android and provides the same sync service between both platforms. I've had no issues sharing lists between Androids and iOS.

The product is not as feature rich but it definitely gets the job done.

Well I think we should really start a class action Law Suite against them and make them pay a large penalty!!! Anyone want to join in, show some interest and I will look into a lawyer???

    Darren Ciccone,

I agree, Our Groceries is a great Cross platform alternative. Now if my wife would only adopt the app on her iPhone we'd be set.

To all dissatisfied GG 'former customers' I have found Grocery King app! It cost a few bucks but is as good as if not better than GG. Seriously, you must check it out.

I wouldn't have a problem with a class action. I would feel different if the app was free, but I paid for it. I have not been able to get any help from their customer support whatsoever. The app works worse now than when I got it. I just haven't gotten anything else because it took me so long to load everything onto GG. I just don't want to start over.

I know what you mean and that is the way I feel. As for all the other Grocery apps like King and so forth I am like you I spent enough time entering all the info and if I use something else who's to say they won't disappear at some future date! I will keep anyones info that wants to start a Class Action Law Suite so when I see a real interest I will do so. Thanks
