My husband and I both use Windows 8 phones. We are finding that most of the time we get 'disconnected' for the app instead of 'connected'. Is there a setting my phone needs to help this work smoother? We have both WIFI and Data available. Does the app use both options?

I have Windows phone also. Having the exact same issues. My sister and her husband have on their iPhones and ipads and I have on my Kindle. They all work fine. Just the Windows version of app often doesn't connect. I have even deleted app and and reinstalled with no success.

It worked great on my Windows 7 phone. It's only the Windows 8 phone having the problem. That seems strange to me. It's making sharing our list very difficult.

Is there a resolution to this? Seems like initially my items on list from Windows 8 app were uploaded but after the initail sync, nothing is updated on portal or other phones? Says "Connected".

I still have issues with Windows Phone 8.1.
98 % of the time, it reads disconnected. Some very few times it shows connected, downloads the lists once Again, but when i try to add something myself it is disconnected Again. Really frustrating. I have bought the app for both iPhone, iPad and Windows phone, but it is useless when syncing dowsn't Work.

Think i discovered what is wrong with Windows App (or actually with backend).
Sometimes items on list have the same ID #, and as soon as this happens, the Windows client refuses to sync. If you correct manually, then you can sync Again.

In my opinion (as a database designer), the problem isn't with the app, but with your backend, because it allows for multiple items with same ID.

The iOS app doesn't seem to mind this flaw, therefore you only see it on the Windows app.

I have the same problem with the Windows phone 8.1 App remaining disconnected most of the time, very frustrating. How do I manually correct the item ID# as mentioned above?

@Michael - log in to their web interface, create a new list. Mark all items on your existing list and use the move to drop down. Move everything on your list to the new one (and back if you please), then the IDs will be in order.

After that, refrain from creating new items thru the windows app, or you will face the same issue again.

David, thanks. I guessed that might be the process, so had already tried that. I also created a completely new account and added items only via the windows phone app. I still got disconnected most of the time.

Same issue even with 2.0.1.0 version. This really sucks. Also the experience across phones is not the same. UI needs rework.

I get the status "disconnected" also when I start up from scratch. Does anybody know where I can get a refund?

This app is still not working like it should do - not reliable at all! It shows "disconnected" and when restarting the app or even reinstalling, the issue stays. My phone has no connection problems with other apps. I can also not reconfigure and connect to my account. It's a pity because this platform has great promises but it stays unreliable... PS: billing of the reinstallation of the app did work very well... shame not, paying twice 2,99 euro for something this bad... Maybe time for some refunding to you customers, because it is really not done (etiquette-wise) letting people pay for something like this. I rest my case for now. Make it work people! Thank you.

This App will not join an existing group from a Nokia Lumia 928 running Windows 8.1. It returns an error message "network error". My Apple phones join with no problem. If this cannot be fixed, I will discontinue use of this App and switch to something else.

I also get the "network error" message any time I try to connect. Seeing as they haven't updated the Windows version for.... well over 2 years, I think we can safely assume that they don't care about it, it's dead, and it's time to move on. Now to figure out how to review it on the Windows store to hopefully keep people from buying this...

Especially disappointing, as I've been using this app for quite a while and have liked it a lot. Owell.
